DELIVERY AREA & CARRYOUT
A restaurant in Chicago without delivery is like Chicago without Lake Michigan or Mayor Daley, it is incomprehensible. Standard India Restaurant delivers our delicious North Indian food to nearby Chiago neighborhoods as well as to the Chicago Loop Downtown area. Our standard delivery area is North to Irving Park (4000 North), South to Fullerton (2400 North), East to the Lake and West to Ashland (1600 West).
Our minimum delivery order charge is $15.00 which is payable either cash or credit card. We charge $3.00 per delivery for our standard delivery area and $6.00 per delivery, to any location in the Chicago Loop or North Downtown area. We also have a Carry Out option for all of our menu items as well. For Carry Out, please call ahead and we will have our delicious North Indian food ready for you upon your arrival.
DRIVING
FREE LOT PARKING. You can drive to the restaurant and enjoy Free Parking everyday, after 2:00 pm. Free Parking is available in the lot marked as "Ann Sather's Parking." Entrance to our Free Parking is located on the southside of Belmont Avenue and is located one storefront east of SIR. There is a small driveway that you will enter through which will eventually open up into a much larger parking lot. Please park anywhere that is not marked as reserved.
BUSES & TRAINS
There are multiple Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) www.transitchicago.com buses that can you to the restaurant. If you are coming down Belmont, take the #77 Belmont bus. If you are coming from downtown, take either the #135, #145, #146 or #151 and get off at the Belmont stop and bam you will be here in no time.
There are more trains to get you here than all the lentils in India. Seriously. We are located 1 block East of the Belmont train station. There are several main lines that go to Belmont train station. The Red, Brown and Purple all stop at the station. Please check time tables and schedules to plan accordingly.
WALKING & BIKING
Going Green? Totally cool with us as we have been going green for 30 years. The restaurant is very centrally located in Lakeview and can be easily reached from any direction. If you are walking down Belmont, we are located very conspicuously on the South side of the street.
More than half of our server associates bike to work and we love it. Save fossil fuel burning, get fit and also build up an appetite before you arrive. There are plenty of places to park your bike when you arrive at the restaurant. There are several bike lock pillars as well as parking meters you can lock your bike too.
